I grew up in California in an animal loving family; my childhood was spent picking up stray animals with my mother, and for a time, living in a house that resembled a petting zoo.

I was a Music major at the University of Alabama which led to a career in the music business. For almost 20 years I was primarily a live sound engineer which allowed me to travel the world with different bands putting on concerts; but my life long passion has always been animals, so even when touring overseas I spent most every day-off rescuing animals.

In 1992, I moved to Flagstaff with my 6 dogs and 3 cats. In 1996, I started "Sunnybrook Farm" a Pet Sitting business which grew to include Dog Walking, Pet Transportation, Errand Service and Agility training. I started making Dog Necklaces featuring the "Dog and Mom Jewelry Set" to help support rescued animals. I converted my garage to accommodate rescued dogs.

From 2000 to 2007, I ran a no-kill Cat Shelter for adult cats. I've held positions at other animal shelters, nonprofit organizations as well as retail pet stores. My experience with all kinds of animals and my knowledge of different pet-related areas makes me a valuable friend to your pet. I treat every animal as my own, with love, patience and understanding.
